2008 OPPEI/AMP-Ohio/OMEA Annual Conference October 27 - 30, 2008 The 2008 OPPEI/AMP-Ohio/OMEA Conference will be held October 27 - 30 at The Columbus, A Renaissance Hotel, in downtown Columbus. The hotel is located at 50 North Third Street just south of Broad Street. Please note that this year's conference dates are one week later than usual. A block of overnight rooms is being held at The Columbus Renaissance Hotel, 50 N. Third St., for the 2008 OPPEI/AMP-Ohio/OMEA Conference. Reservations can be made by calling 800/417-1057 or 614/228-5050 and giving the group code “OPP,” or by going online to: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/cmhbr-the-columbus-a-renaissance-hotel then clicking on the dates you would like to stay overnight (located on the right side), number of rooms you would like, number of guests per room, and typing in the Group Code box either OPPOPPA if you would like one king bed in your room or OPPOPPQ if you would like two queen beds, and then clicking on “Find.” The rate is $139 per day. Overnight guests will receive a discounted parking rate of $16 per day. Parking for those without an overnight stay will also be discounted at $10 per day.
