AMP-Ohio's general counsel can help member communities obtain legal information related to the unique needs of Ohio municipal electric systems. Additionally, AMP-Ohio may help member systems in funding and pursuing litigation if the issue has the potential to impact other member public power systems.

When necessary, AMP-Ohio intervenes in regulatory proceedings at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and any other state or federal regulatory agency whose decisions and activities affect Ohio municipal electric systems.
